Current Research
Sustainable Transportation: My current research focus is on sustainable transportation specifically cycling. My previous work in behaviour change and energy use informs this research which is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada through a Partnership Development Grant.
The research focuses on increasing cycling behaviour through social marketing for behaviour change as well as on the impact and potential of cycling economies. Please see Toronto Cycling Think & Do Tank for reports and more information. |
Green Revolving Funds: I am currently the Research Director with The Canadian Coalition for Green Healthcare: Green Revolving Fund project where we are focused on developing a comprehensive Social Enterprise Business Model for a green health care revolving fund. Revolving funds eliminate the need for managers to repeatedly request funds for sustainability projects and increase the pace of change. An Ontario Centres of Excellence project.
Additionally, I have been working with John Marioano examining and reporting on barriers to energy efficient projects and green revolving funds at Canadian Universities. This is a Sustainable Prosperity project. |
